Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our VPS server solutions include three Linux distributions which you can pick from for the Operating System of your new server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Apart from being free, the OSs are very stable and safe and the main reason to offer the 3 of them is to make sure that you can run every application that you'd like, because different pieces of software could have different requirements regarding the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is backed by a vast community of developers who have produced many hundreds of software packages which you can install and use on your VPS. Depending on the Operating System that you select, you will also be able to choose between 3 different Control Panels to handle your website hosting content. Of course, in case you decide that you need some other OS, we could always reinstall the server with it. As an optional upgrade, we also offer weekly updates of the OS for maximum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are 100 % free so they won't increase the price of your new server, but also because they are very secure and stable. Each of them is backed up by a huge community of web developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from thousands of software packages that you can install on your server in case the app that you intend to use has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer run on particular OSs only and since we want to give you as much versatility as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a given OS, we can change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you need a different one. We can also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of our optional Managed Services upgrade.
