Established in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-specific domain is very popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. This is a way to have an easy-to-remember domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to return to your website or to give it with colleagues and pals. Considering that .IT domains are not offered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that manages this extension, such a domain can be bought through a third-party provider, such as ours. Because there are existing Second-Level Domains that include names of different areas and localities in Italy reserved for local third-level registrations, new names that consist of geographical areas of any kind are not permitted on any level to avoid any future confusion.
